The High Commission of India, Accra, is delighted to announce the 2nd edition of the Pravasi Bharatiya Express, a special train tour exclusively for Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs). Scheduled from October 21 to November 8, 2025, this 3-week journey will explore 17 iconic destinations across India, offering an immersive experience of its rich cultural, historical, and religious heritage.

Tour Highlights

• Duration: 3 weeks (October 21 - November 8, 2025)

• Destinations: 17 places of touristic and religious significance

• Cost: INR 1,92,345 + GST per person (all-inclusive package)

• Expenditure: Self-financing basis

• Air Travel: Participants must arrange and pay for their own return air tickets to Delhi

• Application Deadline: May 20, 2025

Following the success of the inaugural tour in January 2025, which was flagged off by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Bhubaneswar, this 2nd edition promises a similar high-quality experience. Organized by M/s IRCTC Limited, the tour coincides with India’s vibrant festival season, making it an ideal time for PIOs to visit. 

Important Information:

A minimum of 120 participants is needed to run the train. Interested PIOs are requested to express their interest at the earliest to help us plan and ensure the tour’s success. Unlike the first edition, which was subsidized, this tour is self-financed, with an attractive all-inclusive rate negotiated by the Ministry of External Affairs.
