NOTICE FOR TOURIST VISAS
As per latest guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the High Commission of India Accra is pleased to announce the resumption of tourist visas as per the following details:
- Foreign nationals intending to visit India for tourism purposes will be allowed to enter India on e-Tourist Visa/Tourist Visa through chartered flights(for group tourism only) from 15 October 2021
- All individual foreign nationals intending to travel to India for tourism purposes would be permitted to enter India from 15 November 2021
- The above mentioned foreign nationals would be required to obtain either a fresh e-Tourist Visa by applying online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/ or a regular Tourist Visa from the High Commission of India, Accra. These visas will be issued for a period of 30 days with single-entry. Such foreign nationals shall be permitted to enter India by routes/flights but not through land Immigration Check Points(ICPs).
- Existing valid e-Tourist Visa/Regular Tourist Visa remain suspended. Such individuals intending to enter India are required to obtain a Fresh Tourist Visa.
- The first 500000 Tourist Visa would be issued on ‘GRATIS’ basis and admissible only once per tourist.
