High Commission of India, Accra celebrated the Vishwa Hindi Diwas at the Chancery premises on 13 January 2024.
Cd'A Mr. S. Chinpau Ngaihte welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of diaspora's contribution in keeping our culture alive. The PM's address to the nation on the occasion of World Hindi Diwas was also read out.
Members of the Indian diaspora and Hindi enthusiasts participated in a number of competitions organised by HCI such as Hindi Poem Recitation, Hindi Short Storytelling, Hasya Kavi Sammelan and General Hindi Quiz.
