High Commission of India Accra High Commissioner Visit to Volta Region from 21-25 February 2021 Interacting with Indian Scholarships Alumni from the Volta Region in Ho High Commissioner urged them to be catalyst in bringing India closer to the people of the Region.

During his visit to Volta Region of Ghana High Commissioner calling on Asogli Paramount Chief HRH Togbe Afede XIV in Ho emphasized on strengthening holistic cooperation between the traditional area & India

High Commissioner visited University of Health & Allied Sciences, Ghana’s young university, in Ho and discussed linking it with Indian Universities for exchanges & collaborative studies & research

High Commissioner interacted in Ho with media from Volta Region of Ghana on objective of his visit to the Region, important developments in India & present efforts in strengthening India-Ghana ties

High Commissioner during visit to Ho Teaching Hospital discussed ways to strengthen cooperation especially in capacity building in view to cherish contribution of Late Dr Uma Sen, an Indian doctor with the Hospital for many years.

Exploring strengthening India-Ghana ties in culture & tourism in Volta Region High Commissioner visited Volta Regional Cultural Centre in Ho, Wli Agumatsa Waterfalls, Tafe Adome Sanctuary & Kente weaving centre

High Commissioner interacted with the listeners of GlobalFM105.1 & audience of Volta1TV in Ho on priorities of India-Ghana relations especially in the post-pandemic world.

During his visit to Volta Region of Ghana High Commissioner visited Dominion Paints Industries & Caltech Ventures to understand business ecosystem in the Region for benefit of Indian investors.

Addressing India-Volta Region Business Forum in Ho High Commissioner highlighted huge synergies between India & Volta Region of Ghana for businesses of the two sides to work together.

High Commissioner hosted India Round Table in Ho during his visit to Volta Region of Ghana with participation by Regional Minister and other political, business, educational & socio-cultural authorities from the Region.
