The High Commission of India celebrated the 77th Independence Day on 15 August, 2023 at India House. The event saw huge participation from members of the Indian community and Friends of India. Cd'A Mr. S.C. Ngaihte hoisted the tricolour and read the President's address to the nation.
Students of DPS International School and some members of the Indian diaspora put together beautiful patriotic performances to celebrate the occasion. Winners of the Essay Competition held as part of the celebrations were also felicitated at the event.
