On the occasion of 70th Republic Day of India, High Commissioner Birender Singh and Mrs. Richa Rao hosted an evening reception at India House, Accra. Honble Cynthia Mamle Morrison, Minister of Gender, Children Social Protection was the Chief Guest representing government of Republic of Ghana. Following the speeches and raising of toast by High Commissioner and Chief Guest, national anthems of both the countries were played by Ghana Police Band. To promote Khadi, a splendid Fashion Show and a skit were organized along with Indian and Ghanaian dance performances. The reception was attended by a number of Ministers of State, MPs, members of diplomatic corps, eminent Ghanaians from all walks of life and eminent members of Indian community.rnrn
