Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2020 was celebrated on 09 January 2020 in the High Commission of India, Accra. The event began with a speech by Charge dAffaires, Mr. T.V. Ganesan to the gathered members of the Indian community on the importance and relevance of PBD. Mr. Rajesh Thakker, President Indian Association Ghana also addressed the gathering. This was followed by the live streaming of the PBD celebrations held in New Delhi which included speeches by Secretary (East), Honble Minister of State, Shri V.Muraleedharan and by Honble Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar and interaction by Honble EAM with members of the Indian diaspora from 8 countries spread across all continents through video conferencing.
