The High Commission is organising an Essay Competition for members of the Indian Diaspora in Ghana on the following topics for three age groups:

a) For 8-12 years :

Topic: My favourite freedom fighter. 

 Word limit: 200 words.

b) For 13-17 years:

Topic: My first encounter with the story of India's independence struggle.

 Word limit: 350 words. 

c) For 18 years and above:

Topic: How does India make me proud. 

 Word limit: 500 words

Scanned copies of the handwritten essay in English or Hindi should be sent by email to info.accra@mea.gov.in. The last date of receipt of entries is Friday, the 8th August 2023.
