REQUIREMENTS FOR ISSUANCE OF INDIAN PASSPORT

RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

• Application form
• Photocopy of previous passport (first & last pages including resident permit & Ghana visa)
• 4 passport size photograph:
• 2 inches by 2 inches
• White background, No white shirt/dress
• Face to cover 80% of the area of photo
• No computer-generated of Polaroid photos
• No shadow on face
• Sharp contrast
• If applicant wears glasses, eyes to be clearly visible
• Introductory letter from applicant's place of work
• Applicant below the ages of (16) should add photocopy of both parents passport including resident permit

FEES

ADULTS (OVER 15 YEARS) - 60 pages = Gh¢ 221.00
                                                                       - 36 pages = Gh¢ 167.00
MINOR (UP TO 15 YEARS) - 36 pages = Gh¢ 112.00

PASSPORT FOR A NEW BORN BABY

• Application form
• On line registration form(Form I) for Indian citizenship for minor indian children on this site: http://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/ic_login.aspx (this should be filled and printed out)
• Introductory letter from child's parents
• Photocopy of both parents passport (first & last pages including resident permit & Ghana visa) 3 COPIES
• 4 passport size photograph:
• 2 inches by 2 inches
• White background, no white shirt/dress
• Face to cover 80% of the area of photo
• No computer-generated of Polaroid photos
• No shadow on face
• Sharp contrast
• MISCELLANEOUS forms
• Two Affidavits form filled by both parents
• Original birth certificate and registration & photocopy (3 COPIES)
• Photocopy of both parents passport
